Your Role<\/b><\/h4>\n

We are a tight-knit team of 7 with a strong foundation in backend, AI and data infrastructure. Now, we are missing a crucial piece of the puzzle to take our product to the next level: <\/span><\/p>\n

We are looking for a UX\/UI Engineer with a strong passion for design and UX. You won’t just be handed Figma files to build; you will be the driving force behind how our product looks and feels. You will design, build and ship frontend features end-to-end, work closely with the founders and help define how restaurants compete in the age of AI.<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ll:<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Own the Frontend & UI\/UX:<\/b> Take the lead on designing and building our web app (React, TypeScript, Tailwind).<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Design & Prototype:<\/b> Create intuitive, user friendly interfaces and flows. You don’t need to be a pixel perfect graphic designer, but you need a great eye for UX and the ability to mock up and iterate on designs.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Bridge the Gap:<\/b> Join our tech team to translate complex data and AI outputs into simple, beautiful experiences for restaurant owners.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Establish Best Practices:<\/b> Help shape and scale our frontend engineering practices, design system and code quality.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Move Fast:<\/b> Work in tight loops with customers, turning insights into shipped solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Who You Are<\/b><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • 2+ years of hands-on experience<\/b> building and shipping frontend products, primarily using React.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Design-minded:<\/b> You care deeply about the user experience, interaction design and how things look. You love making products feel “snappy” and intuitive.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Self-starter:<\/b> You thrive in an environment where you are the go-to expert for frontend and design within the tech team.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Product-focused:<\/b> You care about the <\/span>why<\/span><\/i>, not just the <\/span>how<\/span><\/i>. You want to solve real problems for our users.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Language:<\/b> You speak Dutch and are fluent in English.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>

      Bonus points if you have:<\/b><\/p>\n

      • Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems (we currently use shadcn\/ui and Tailwind).<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Experience with data visualization on the frontend (building analytics dashboards, charts, etc.).<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Familiarity working alongside FastAPI backends.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • An interest in the hospitality industry or AI products.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>
